It’s been over a week since I put up a post on the blog, the fact is I have been having the writer’s block which I have found out is a normal thing!
Today is the first day of Mental Health Awareness Week and I feel that it is important for us to be aware of Mental and Emotional challenges that we are facing in unprecedented times where even the smallest of things are enough to tip us over the edge and make us feel down and out. There are days when we feel that we have not been productive enough with work and see deadlines slipping away. It’s OK to be NOT OK.
Being mindful of ourselves is one of the pillars of Mental Well being. So, with Mindful Monday to start the week, I thought it would be good for us to focus on how we could make the most of our time while working from home.
Here is a short video on some top tips from Paige Cohen at Harvard Business Review on How to Actually Work…When You’re Working from Home.
To quote Paige Cohen ‘’Because boundaries are fuzzy, you could either burn out or not get anything done. So, the important thing is to set boundaries around your work – When you’re working, you’re working and when you’re not working, you’re not’’
I found the video helpful and I hope you do too.
So true about setting boundaries! Thanks for sharing Delphine.
